There are two things I remember about visiting my Great Grandma… watching Wrestling & Monster trucks.
I never really got into either of them… (you know, sweaty muscle men fighting each other, or loud giant trucks
rolling over crushed cars)… but I just liked hanging out with her. If I had to pick one though, it would be the
monster trucks. Best, Great Grandma, ever.
Never watched this show, even once. I suppose because by the time I was a little kid, it was already into re-runs.
It was only on tv from 70-74 I believe, so most of you younger folks probably don’t even know what this show is!
(and to be honest, I don’t really know either, I just know it was about a musically talented family who had a bus.)
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone that didn’t like Teenage Mutant Ninja Tortoises, as an adult or a kid.
It was (and still is) in my top 10 favourite comics/cartoons.
I also loved the original movie… (not #2 or 3 though). Recent 3d animated tv shows just don’t cut it either for me.
The new Michael Bay movie has me wondering though… I don’t like what he did with Transformers, so here’s hoping.
I’ll be honest, I never watched Starsky and Hutch as a kid. I’m not really sure why either. Was it even a kids show? I don’t think so.
Perhaps I didn’t have interest because with Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazard, and Magnum P.I., I already had my fill of shows with cool cars.
Either that, or its just because my parents never watched it. Did you watch it? Was it any good?
